The Prime-Line S 4531 Diecast 5 Pin National Keyway Mailbox Lock and Key Set makes it easy to secure your mail. It is designed for use with most mailboxes. The mailbox key set comes complete with a 5 pin mailbox lock, 9 cams, and 2 keys. These multi-cam assortments eliminate the need for individual locks. The mailbox key lock set is constructed of diecast, brass, steel, and stamped steel materials. It features a spring steel locking clip. The steel components come finished in a corrosion-resistant zinc-plated finish. The cylinder face comes in a nickel-plated finish. The lock is easy to install with only a few simple tools. I recently moved and now share my mailbox with dozens of other people. And the lock to mine was broken. After 2 trips to lock and key shops with no success, I decided to see what Amazon had to offer. The part I needed was here and it went together perfectly. No more problems and it cost much less than the lock and key places. Though it was nice to tour a different part of town!

Love how it had different sizes, found an appropriate size for my mail box. After I lost my mailbox key I told my manager and he said he will fix it. After 6months of not having access I purchased this and fixed my mail box under 5min. If I would have known it would be this simple I would have done it a long time ago. If I would've called a lock Smith it would have cost over 100 so I'm very happy with this buy

First, it is very easy to install, uses a pressure clamp on the inside to hold it together. Would probably be sturdier with some sort of nut/bolt arrangement. The actual latches are a bit short, so make sure it contains one that is long enough for your application.

I moved to a new house and I needed a replacement for my community mail box lock and I got those, they are cheap, affordable and does the job, feels like low quality made though, but anyway I am staying here temporarily so it doesn't matter much.

This solved a problem in a pinch! I looked up YouTube videos of how to get into my mailbox as I'd lost the key and USPS offered to help or have a Locksmith help for a whopping $150... No thanks!I needed to get a dress that i ironically ordered off of Amazon for a work event that was days away and I work Mon-Friday so even if I wanted to overpay, I had no time to meet them at the box to get the swap completed.I bought this and replaced my existing lock in about 20 minutes total. I was worried about the latch not fitting after trying on two sizes, but they have so many that it fits every box style. Be sure to look at the little circle that you put your key in like I did to make sure you have the right lock! Shipped fast, excellent quality and super affordable solution that actually meets the USPS' standards.

easy to install, I ended up reusing the latch from my old lock; but the variety of latches provided was nice and at more than half the price to have it re-keyed.

This was the Easiest handywork I ever had to do! It took literally 1 minute to do! Super easy to install, with all the Cams that come with the kit you're sure to find the one for you. Those who complain that it's for a left or right hand side mailbox are just not smart enough to put the CAM in the other direction! a truly Universal product! feels sturdy and of good quality!

I needed a lock that turns clockwise to unlock, counterclockwise to lock. This particular lock is the opposite rotation, so it was difficult to barely make it work on my mailbox. Vendors should make this feature clear in their advertising. I'm still looking for a lock that fits and works well for my old mailbox. There are lots of different locks available, and most are not a good fit. Be prepared for disappointment.

Doesn't work with my right hand open mail box. Can't seem to find any that open to the right, all Left.Generous amount of arms for every application you'd want.Even tho it didn't work for my application, the product it self is very good.
