This U.L. Listed door viewer is constructed of a solid brass housing, and it comes in a polished brass finish. The lens of this viewer is made of glass and it features a 200 degree angle of view. Viewer can be installed on doors from 1-3/8 inch thick to 2-1/8 inch thick, with a required 9/16 inch diameter hole for installation of viewer. Door viewer is designed to help keep you safe when answering your door and is ideal for day or night viewing with adequate exterior lighting. Easy to install and it is used by many. Inside viewer covers (not included with this item) prevent reversed visibility through door viewers from the exterior of the home, increasing the security and privacy of your home.

Nicely made. For the 1st time installer it is important that before you drill that your angle is level to prevent uneven install.

Nice product but the 1/2 inch in the title made me think the hole in the door needed to be 1/2 inch, the hole needs to be 9/16 inch so it did not fit. I returned it and ordered the correct size.

We are looking for a 14mm bore size viewer for replacement since we don’t want to drill a larger hole on the door. Luckily we found this on Amazon. It looks good and fits our door well. It is also packed well.

This is a nice product at a good price. The glass lens is a plus for me. My old viewer was hazed and blurry from age, sun, and abuse; I could barely see out. I unscrewed the old viewer (using a wide screwdriver and a dime in the slot), cleaned up the door, and screwed in the new viewer. 'Done in under five minutes, start to finish, and now I have a clear, wide view out the front door from the pavers to the gutters, out to the street. Nice.P.S. I use a cork in the peephole to protect my privacy from the outside, in. Simple.

Description of product is incorrect. It does not have a viewing area of 200 degrees. The manufacturers package is clearly marked as 190 degrees. Other similar items of 190 degrees viewing area can be purchased for a lower price.
