Outer edges of the call produce higher yelps, cuts, and clucks while lower and deeper tones can be made towards the middle. Play loud or soft, whichever fits your needs. Solid one-piece striker and abrasive pad included.

I've had two. Glass cracked on both. Seems to be cracking through when scored by the supplied sandpaper. Too bad. I have quite a few other Primos pot calls from as far back as the mid 90s and they've been great. I have several other glass pot calls from other makers. Never had a glass surface crack when conditioning it. That it happened on back to back Rare Breed calls suggests to me they are built with cheap picture frame quality glass. The newest one sat there are popped two more time while I was typing this. Now has 3 cracks in it.

Contacted primos customer service - they are sending a replacement. Updating review based on my love for the first one and assuming I happened to get a faulty one.I absolutely loved this call, had it less than a week and the glue came undone on one half. Obviously doesn't work anymore.

Glass broke while conditioning prior to using in the field. Primos replaced this item after many attempts. Overall, good sound even with a full crack across the glass.

The call sounds nice, but the first one cracked as soon as I lightly sanded it. Sent it back, got another, and sanded it lightly with the provided fine grit paper. Call sounded good. Sat it down on the counter to look at my other delivery. Heard a loud pop...and this one cracked down the middle as well. Both cracked within 5 minutes of being touched with the included sandpaper. Pure junk. I expect better from primos. Sad.

I received this item in a package with an abrasive pad, the wood pot. But the striker was not included

Mine also cracked after sanding it for the first time, what a bummer cause I have a lot of Primos calls for for different animals and quality has always been great but don't recommend this one.

Just like many other reviews, the product arrived broken. I don’t know if Primos needs to add more protective packaging, or Amazon needs to put more cushion in the box, but something needs to change because more people need to experience this awesome call in working order!Scratched it up even with it being broken and you can hear a little wiggle rasp in the sound but otherwise this call sounds amazing. Striker is decent quality, all wood.The tones from this call are loud as you would expect from a glass call, but still soft and smooth. Amazon customer service did a great job and took care of sending me out a replacement at no cost. Will update once I have a replacement that isn’t cracked.EDIT: received second one, BROKEN AGAIN! Amazon refunded me for it but I am still now two weeks without a turkey call.

Scuffed glass with sand pepper sent in package. Immediately cracked and sounds nothing like a turkey now.
