This is just a lovely brush and a real joy to use. I discovered the Princeton Aqua Elite series of watercolor brushes a while ago and I’ve purchased several of them. This big brush is perfect for doing large washes - it releases the water and paint onto the paper so smoothly. It also has a great point so it can be used for details better than other large wash brushes I have. One other thing I appreciate about the Aqua Elite series is the way they feel in my hand when I paint. I paint several hours a day, most days, and I notice I have less hand fatigue when I use these brushes. I think it has to do with how well balanced they are.

One of the best quality in watercolor brushes! It holds it shape,and feels good in the hand. I own quite a few Princeton Auqua Elite brushes among many others but these are top notch!

I love this brush. I also like the ones by Ar*teg*rio, which I reach for more simply because I don’t want to ruin my “good†brush. This does work better at holding water and releasing water. Definitely a lot better than tran*son.

This is a great little brush for thin lines, exactly what I needed. Shout out to Hyatt’s Graphic Supply for truly excellent packaging! The brush had a hard plastic tube over the bristles, then wrapped in a little bubble wrap and placed in an appropriate sized small box for shipping. I’ve recently had a few brushes shipped from Amazon directly that were just thrown loose into a very large envelope. Nothing to protect the bristles.

I am a beginner with watercolors and have had the most fun with this brush. The brush is great quality and does not lose its bristles. It holds a lot of water and paint and the bristles are firm, yet nimble. My favorite thing to do with this brush is make trees. You can get a lot of textures out of this one brush.

This is the 2nd one I have ordered, the tip of the brush on the first one ended up with a little bend. Hopefully this one will do better.

The description given is new, but the brush i received is definitely used. There was no protective plastic cover, and there was no glue on the hair, which should always be there for new watercolor brushes.
