Product Description

More than 25 years ago, Princeton introduced its first synthetic sable brush to artists. These high-quality, short handle brushes have the best point and spring of all Princeton synthetics, making them perfect for watercolor painting. Our brushes are designed to drink gulps of water, paint supple strokes and retain their sharp point and crisp edge. The brush filament is made using varying diameters of synthetic sable fiber for terrific spring, enhanced color-holding capacity and a natural snap. This collection features an extensive range of shapes and sizes so you can paint everything from long, thin lines to intricate details to large areas with ease. Heritage artist brushes are more affordable than genuine sable and more durable and dependable than most synthetics hair brushes.

The brush is good quality, but for beginner painters the description can be a bit misleading. It is not 4 in a pack. It is a number 4 size

Seems a decent brush, but I don't know how Princeton expects their little plastic sleeve to protect anything in shipping. It's free to slide up and down the handle and deform the bristles easily. I can't even be sure that the thing was in place on the way to me (throw a teeny bit of tape on there!). As I opened the bubble mailer, I noticed that the smaller plastic envelope (non see thru) that contained the brush had actually become part of the heat-sealing, and on the bristle end. When I got both packages open, the plastic sleeve was halfway down the handle and half of the brush was bent. I'm soaking it in hot water now. Hopefully will dry to a fan shape. If not, I'm returning it.
