This product is recommended by a Acrylic Painting teacher whose tutorials I follow online. Good economical set for students & experienced artists. Ive never had any bristles fall out and the set last quite a while with good care & cleaning.

I do like these brushes I would not say that I love them (i'm pretty picky). For a beginning watercolor artist or someone that doesn't have a lot of funds to invest, this is going to be a great product to start out with. I won't use natural hair brushes anyway because I'm just not on board with that. However they still need to be a good quality brush. I would not consider these professional artist quality but certainly better than most budget value brush. Princetons are a good quality brush. And if you can achieve the look you want using a budget brush over a more expensive brush then why spend a lot of money. I can't speak to other mediums as I primarily do mixed media with watercolor and colored pencil. So I'm afraid I won't be much help there. They hold quite a bit of water which is great but not so much if you are a beginner to get frustrated with the medium. I like that the handles have a little bit of texture to them its very slight but helps reduce slipage if you struggle with that. Kids in particular would probably really like that. I think as a first set for the money you can't beat these with a stick. I placed an image down below to show what kind of strokes you can get with each brush in this set. Hopefully that will help you. I like that its a variety of brushes. You will most likely need some bigger rounds, as the rounds in this set are pretty small.

The order came quickly and was packaged very Well.Long orange brush handles. I Did not realize the handles were long when I ordered. I do not care for long handles. My mistake. The brushes look like nice and I used them tonight for my Art/Faith cards. After using 3 of 6 brushes I gave them a 5 Star.Thank you, Amazon..

I am a huge fan of Princeton Neptune brushes and needed an angle spotter and a #2 round brush, so I decided to give this Real Value set a try. It was purchased at $11.30, averaging to less than $2 per brush. Compared to the Neptune Aquarelle 25 (1/4), the Real Value Shader #6 released most of the colors earlier on during the wash, while the Aquarelle released the colors more evenly throughout the stroke. These brushes also obviously do not retain as much water as the Neptune series, which are known for their water holding prowess. The same can be said for the rest of the brushes, with the release being heavier in the beginning of the strokes/washes.I was hoping for the Angle Spotter to be stiffer, the goal was to use it to make small spots like stars in galaxies, but the tip bends easily, I was only able to make really fine dots when using lots of control. Compared to using the Uni-Ball Signo Medium Point 1.0mm white gel pen for stars, the size of the dots are about the same. The lines on the cactus were made with the Angle Spotter and the lines made were about 0.5-1.0mm. The flowers were made with the Angle Shader. The brushes were also stained a little green after the first use, but that's not really a big deal. I still think this set is a good set to have for beginners or even intermediates, the value for it is great.

I am pretty much a beginner at painting and acrylics. I was looking for some decent brushes that weren’t going to break the bank and these actually are a really good fit. They are nice and Soft and hold a lot of paint and are very easy to clean. The long handles are actually really nice to paint with because you can pull back from your artwork and get a good look at it while you’re painting. I will definitely buy these again

I compared these to more expensive Princeton brushes and I think they perform just as well.I use them for watercolor, so nothing heavy, and they are great, I think.

These are fantastic value brushes. I've seen a lot of complaints on other cheap synthetic brushes about bristles falling out, loose handles, etc., but after using these brushes for a few watercolour paintings and some mixing charts, etc. I haven't lost a single bristle. The handles and ferrules are sturdy and well assembled with no wobbling. The round brush holds its point when wet, and is shaped so there are a few longer bristles in the centre that allow detail work in corners and small areas where you don't want to have to switch brushes. I've used some of these for vigorously scrubbing on my watercolour paintings and they still hold their shape and haven't started to degrade, and don't have any wonky bristles causing problems when I'm painting.

Exactly as expected, bought for a family paint day and they worked fine. They are not the best quality brushes I own, and they are as described by the seller.
