Transparent & Clear Waterslide Decal Paper Operation Steps:
Step 1: Print Image
- Use inkjet printer, adjust print settings to high quality print, let the paper dry for at least 3 minutes after printing.
Tips,
- Print on the glossy side of the decal paper.
- No need to reverse (mirror) the image.
Step 2: Acrylic Spray
- Spray an even coat of the acrylic spray over your image. Allow it to dry for a few minutes. Apply two more coats to make a total of three coats. Let the paper dry for at least 10 minutes.
Tips,
- Place the printed paper and the acrylic spray in a well-ventilated space.
- The ink would dissolve in water if you do not spray the image at least 3 times
Step 3: Cut Out Image
- Use scissors to cut out the image that you want.
Tips,
- Do NOT cut too close to the edge of the image, leave out a 2 ~ 3mm of spacing.
Step 4: Soak In Water
- Submerge paper into the water for 30 ~ 60 seconds to separate the base paper and the transfer membrane.
Tips,
- Wet the surface to place the decal on for easier decal manuever and positioning.
Step 5: Attach and Remove
- Take out the soaked decal and place onto a desired surface with the image side facing up.
- Use your fingers, a damp cloth/paper towel or a squeegee to remove air bubbles and excess water, then slide the backing off.
Tips,
- Do not take off the backing paper before placing.
Step 6: Dry
- Let the decal sit and dry for at least 3 hours
Tips,
- Do not expose it directly to sunlight during drying.
- Ceramics need to be baked in an oven at 230℉(110℃) for 10-15 minutes
- NOT dishwasher safe and must be cleaned by hands gently
- Extra coat of epoxy resin can be used on the finished decal for more protection and gloss.

I wanted to make a mug for my nephew. I didn’t want to convert my printer to a sublimation printer as you can’t switch back. So this allowed me to make decals from photos I made three decals added them to a mug. Baked the mug at a low temperature to harden the decal. It’s not washable, but it’s came out great. I’ll definitely use this for other things such as making a custom decal for my laptop cover or even bird images on a window

This paper quality is amazing! Used it for Customer special request for Bridal shower decor / party favor pieces. It was so easy to print (I used laser printer version) and just cut and apply. Would definitely recommend. Customer loved them and they were a hit with their guests

The photo is of a decal on wood. The pictures print great. They don’t tear. Easy to use.

I'm so upset. As someone who buys this paper regularly, the inconsistencies in the quality of the paper is negatively effecting my business. Certain batches of paper just don't allow the ink to correctly saturate. The ink sits on top of the paper and smudges, small images look blurry, and overall looks like trash. This has nothing to do with my printer. My dedicated eco tank photo printer is built for packing ink into these pages but the past two packs I've gotten have been terrible. I did a few tests with the same brand and it works exactly as it should. I'm not sure why they can't provide a consistent product across the board but I'm officially don't wasting my money on a sub par product when my customers expect quality

I have been in the decal business for over 20 years. I bought Jack's decal paper because my regular supplier was out of stock. I have had to replace every order that I used this paper on. The toner didn't adhere to the paper and came off in the water. Wish I could get refunded for ann the grief I have gone through using this paper. But I can't.... It's JUNK!
