I'm just beginning my journey in creating art. Will I ever become great? Will I ever become famous as an artist? I highly doubt it. However, I still want the best tools I can get to develop whatever talent I have.Enter this notebook. This--from what I understand--will help me to develop my ability to draw in perspective.The paper seems to be reasonably constructed and there's a fairly generous number of sheets.

Crochet designsthe 10x10 is hard to come by so I appreciate the availability. Also, no holes for a notebook folder that takes away important space needed for the work

Easy to tear out pages, perfect for my calc 3 graphing needs, great price. Wish it was dual sided, but no complaints.

When I could not locate this at a local store, I knew I could find it on Amazon. Even though some of the reviews were negative, I’ve had no problems drafting out quilt designs and templates as I’m used to doing these activities on 1/4†square paper plus fabric is a more forgiving medium.

Arrived with the corner bent --both the hard back cover, and each page. That would be okay, except I found the paper quality worse than Rhodia, which runs at about the same price point. Wanted to practice calligraphy on this grid size, but this paper is just too absorbent; the ink feathered and bled to the back side, and even onto the next page. Also the grid lines surfaced over the ink. I switched over to some comparable Rhodia paper and those issues were gone. This pad would be fine for general or light use, the printed lines are very clean, and at the time of purchase, it's the only pad I could find for 8x8 grid/inch. But all things considered, I'd have purchased a different option for ink work.

Viewed portrait, the grid is flat-bottomed. Can't draw isometric structures this way, so have to rotate the page, which ultimately leaves less real estate for tall drawings.

About the item: It's what I expected. The pad is solid and the sheets aren't falling out. It's a good buy.Why I bought it: To try drawing woodworking plans and concepts, and I'm surprised how easy isometric design works for this!
