The triangle that came with our pool table was plastic and you could not get a good rack with it because it fit very tight around the balls. This one is great; it has enough slack to rack properly, seems sturdy, and has a nice finish. And all at a great price!

The rack is tight with my Aramith Super Premium Pros. My last rack, which was glued together, fell apart after a mere 30 years, so the dowels made this a no-brainer, as I'd like this one to last.(yes that was sarcasm) It feels very well put together. The dark finish is thin on the edges, but otherwise very nice. I think it will end up "burnished". That's why the 4-stars.It looks good on the wall, too.

Actually not a bad rack! Plenty of space for fingers to tighten up the balls, and surprisingly is of good quality and cherry Colour looks great! My family loves it! Highly recommend this rack. Completely smooth and does NOT grab the felt also! This looks amazing with our brand new Aramith Premium pool balls! Thank you!

The rack looks nice, but I immediately noticed that I couldn't get a tight rack, because all of the balls had a small side-side gap.The problem is that the head ball butts up against the nose of the rack. I tried all three corners of the rack, and they are all the same.To cure the issue, used a 2 1/4" sanding cylinder (the kind that attach to a drill press), and sanded into the apex of one of the corners, 'deepening' the corner by about 1/4". Now the head ball butts against the two side rails, and allows all the other rows to move forward, which squisges them together, side-side. If you sand more than needed, no worries.

Good rack. It's lower profile is the feature I liked about it over other rack I had. Great value.
