The Anchor Dolly is a three-wheel dolly system for moving large camera setups over flat ground or on Tracks. The Anchor Dolly is all about being on the go. Weighing only 12 kg / 26 lb, it is easy to carry and quick to setup. It is light enough for one person to handle and just easy enough to maneuver on the fly. It is constructed of high-grade Aluminum for a more robust yet lightweight build and accommodates jibs, cranes, risers, rigs with heavy or light tripods up to 500 kg / 1100 lb.

This is the perfect dolly for my 8†Celestron Evolution. It will save my back! It is heavy and solid construction. (Nothing flimsy about it!) It rolls smoothly. My only slight concern is that I had to extend the legs of the telescope tripod for it to fit into the three holes at the end of each leg.

I ordered this PROAIM Anchor Heavy-Duty dolly for my Celestron Evolution 8 inch telescope. It arrived fast and was pleasantly surprised how well made this is! It’s heavy duty as stated but glides so smoothly. If you all have these heavy telescopes and tired of carrying them…then this is a no brainer for astronomers.

I have a ProAim jib crane for use in my two YouTube channels. Being a low budget operation, I finally added the dolly to my crane. Everyone, just get the dolly as soon as you can! The usefulness is extraordinary, a day and night difference. The folding feature means grabbing it right away, and assembling the jib crane quickly. Then positioning it where you want it. This heavy duty model means the larger wheels go where I need the crane to be for an outside shot without any fuss! The quality is superb.

I got really tired of setting up and taking down my 12" Meade every night so I went online and looked for a tripod dolly. JMI obviously came up but $1,100 seemed a bit much for what looked like something thrown together with Home Depot partsFor $400 this thing is amazing and completely blew out my expectations. I do with it expanded a bit so I can lower the scope by widening the base but I can't really complain at this price point. Extremely stable and I was easily able to Polar Align and hit a 300 second sub for the first time as I wasn't spending to much time assembling.When I'm done for the night, I just unlock the wheels and scoot it back inside.Do not hesitate when buying this. Handles my heavy duty tripod, wedge, and 12" ACF LX200 with zero issues.

Purchased for an 8" equatorial mount telescope so the heavy rig can be rolled out of the garage evenings, instead carrying and potentially dropping it each time it is used. And it works beautifully. Very solid construction. Very stable. Super-duper-smooth-rolling wheels. Only gripe: it arrived a little banged up with a few scratches.

I thought this was a bit overpriced, but when I received it, I was very impressed with the design and build quality. It is light, very stable, and has large high-quality wheels. It is well worth the money. As added bonus, it is NOT made in China. If you need a heavy-duty tripod dolly, you can't go wrong with this purchase.
