I needed to replace a broken hinge on my kitchen cabinet door. This is the second time I order this hinge. It is actually a life saver as my cabinets are old and getting an exact match to the 50 year-old hinges has not been possible. These hinges work just fine. The wood screws screwed in to different hose on the cabinet but that was fine. I just need to open and close the door without issue. Problem solved.

I drove to so many large and small stores trying to find a complete set without buying some gigantic pack. It was impossible. Everything is always rifled through and missing pieces. I just decided to order these online. They came triple bagged and had all the parts and screws. Seems very sturdy and good quality and fit my cabinets. I’m very happy with this purchase.

These hinges are solid and fit in the original hole the old ones were in. Screw holes are off by half a screw diameter but made it work. I got 2 sets. Used one set but returned the other for a manufacturing defect. The two halves of one hinge would not fit together properly.Re: Amazon...it is very difficult to find a way to communicate with them that I was keeping one set and the other was defective and I only expected the refund of the single defective set. Nope. No luck. If it doesn't fit in their boiletplate reasons for return you're just out of luck. So why don't you fix that, Amazon?? This is a bit snarky so they're forced to review it. Maybe THAT'S the way to communicate with them.

This is a great product - I had a cabinet door that was broken for years, I decided to try to fix it on my own, I ordered the part and received it within 24 hours, I am a woman in my 50’s with pretty much no experience, I came home from dinner and drinks and saw the package and basically installed the door in less than ten minutes - my kitchen looks so much better - I wish I got this part years ago, the hinges are very nice quality and we’re a great buy.

Lucky to have stumbled upon these. I have 102 of the Meplas around my home, all 20 years old. Great product and this was my first failure (no one ever puts the model number of their original hinges, so mine are 346 290 88 04; there's also a d5 MB stamped on them and they were made in Germany). My particular hinges mounted to the door with 2 1/4" round x 3/8" deep "bumps" to hold the hinge in place. In other words, no screws. I had to fill the gaps with wood filler since these use two screws. I thought I might have to replace both hinges, but was able to keep the lower original hinge, thus I have a spare now. I'm going to order three more sets for future use since I couldn't find a match, even at a few local cabinet builder supply companies. While these are not as well built as the Meplas, I would expect a solid 8-10 years from them and at the price point, I'm OK with that, given how easy it was to replace the broken one.

Product fit well with the existing cabinet cuts from the previous broken original hinge. No adjustment needed to scre holes for either the cabinet door or main cabinet base. Simple instructions make simple install. Quality product makes it infinitely better.

Just wanted to share this review as there may be others that have provided these to the contractors working on their project, then only to find out after install, they are not what was expected.

I bought a pair to try out the "soft opening" claim before buying more. They dont open any softer than others and definitely are not soft closing. Dont like them.

Used on framed cabinets. Not exactly like the ones i replaced but they worked well. Good quality product.
