What can I say that hasn't been said my the tons of negative reviews. I bought it anyway because sometimes when dealing with components for more experienced people, you end up with negative reviews from user error. This is not the case here. The pictures I uploaded tell the whole story for those of you that have experience in electronics. If you are not tech savvy then allow me to tell you its a bad idea. The wiring is junk, the box is cheap plastic, and it doesn't do anything. Well I mean it does do something. It makes it so you can hear your radio. But so does the power switch, so.... If you are looking at this to cut out unwanted static there are better options out there.

I wouldn't recommend this for any situation where you want to reduce noise on a CB radio. This is nothing more than a tank circuit. It isn't going to do much more than turning up the squelch. It will also reduce your output power slightly. I won't give it 0 stars as the product has been around a while, and if you can live with the above mentioned limitations.... then so be it.

I was a bit unsure about purchasing this item but in the end I think it was worth it. A few facts about this product; it lacks any method of mounting to a dash or anywhere else. You may want some velcro to go with it. Also, it certainly does work for reducing static and interference but at the price of reducing all other signal as well. This item appears to be primarily for highway driving where although illegal amplified signals are very common. If you have it in a handy spot and use it only when needed it is a fine product. Just note that this item will bot fix a bad installation or heavy interference from very close by it will take care of radiated engine noise but you likely won't be able to hear transmissions from any distance with it all full clip.

This product is good if your in the Gas n Oil Industry. As for if your stuck in Staging you can Cancel out alot of the extra noise. But if your in a Convoy and you want to be able to hear what's coming towards you, You'll have to shut it off and just run it like you do regularly.

I’ve got issues with interference entering through a mag mount CB antenna rather than the power cord. It’s bad when my Ridgeline is running. This definitely cuts the noise with a modest, tolerable increase in SWR. I did find a video on YouTube that questions whether this device also kills your signal along with the interference. I’ll update if I find it does, but so far I’m pleased.

Reduce ruido y recepcion a la vez, la misma funcion la obtengo bajando la ganancia de recepcion y si ningun gasti extra, no funciona para lo que se supone deberia.

Completely useless, your radio already has a knob to adjust this. It will reduce all reception. not just noise, it's exactly what this product does. It will not clean your reception from parasites or interference, nor any static you pick up. It just seems to reduce your overall gain, meaning you will not hear distant contacts or DX. My goal was to get rid of some static my rg/213 coax picks up, it did none of that.. it reduced my volume.
