These worked great for my mom. She is older and loves to do yard work. It is her happy place but was cutting up her arms as she gets older and has thinner skin. These do a mixing job protecting her hands and arms. Perfect fit!

I'm buying a second pair today because I consider them good value. The first pair lasted exactly one year, about 80 ours of volunteer work removing blackberry bramble from local trails. Yanking out 10 foot long blackberry canes is about as challenging as it gets for gardening gloves. With these, I can still sometimes feel a thorn but overall I'm well protected. It would be nice if they were more durable, but then they would not be as comfortable.

My father wanted old school motorcycle gloves from the 70s but you can't get em anymore.They stopped making elbow length and only make gauntlet now.These are long enough to be elbow length for a 5'10" man.Good sturdy leather.

These look like they are nicely made. They're attractive color and I like the velcro closure at the top so that you can fit them to your arm better. But, they are disappointingly thin. I thought they were for thorny or prickly gardening, but they aren't made of sturdy enough material for that. Bought "Large" but they should be a size larger to actually fit me, so don't trust size.

Save your skin! These are the best! I pruned bosenberry vines. What a difference they made. I wear a medium but a large in normal gloves.
