They arrived with the utmost of care for shipping, with obvious concern for shipping bumps and jolts. Durability seems to be as you would expect, the leather soft and the soles have just enough give.They're that standard walking around a hippie festival kind of sandal.It is about what I would expect for fit, though for my feet personally they pinch a bit on the pinky toe.He seem thick enough that they will last a long time and they haven't been making that flopping sound that you get with most sandals while walking around.

Was debating whether I should buy a product which is basically a dupe of the original (Birke...) but decided to go for it anyways, given the rather reasonable price AND the fact it has a memory foam - photos showed a cushion at the heel - and I suffer from Planter Fasciitis.So far, so good.Took measures of my feet (26.7 cm) and here the `mini chaos` started as I got two different recommendations from the site itself(!) which size should fit me best, and note that NONE of which was the size I normally wear (US 10).So, I contacted Customer Support, and after chatting with Ken (fast response!) via mail, Ken suggested "Thanks for your response. You might want to consider size 8 - 8.5 as the 7.5 might be too small for you and you might feel uncomfortable with it.".Went ahead and ordered as per his recommendation.What arrived was SUPER tight on my foot, not to mention the color (Taupe), albeit nice, was not very similar to what you see in the photos :-(My wife saw me struggling with size (releasing and closing the straps and walking back and fort) and said she will try them on ... and making a long story short, she took the sandals and is now using them.Nice color for her, size fits her after some strap adjustments, look a tad wide, but OK ... manageable....Still wanting a pair of my own, I went online to buy another pair, this time, knowing the sizes are way too small, I opted for TWO sizes up (took Size 10! Remember Ken suggested 8.5 ...).What I got indicated Size 11 (judging by the label) but fits like a glove!!!! 11 IS my size :-)Color wise, (Chocolate) is again off :-( (looks more like a type of orange, which is the main source of problem and disappointment if I am really honest) but otherwise the sandal fits nicely, without any adjustments required and is so far very comfortable and the cushion in the heel adds comfort and bounce.Knowing me, I may not wear it just because I really don't like the color :-( (not to say it looks a bit lady-like and I'm a male) but thought I'd share my humble experience so other may make a better choice in size and color.Lastly, if I may, a note to the manufacturer ... I would make the straps a bit thicker (on the Z Axis. Thick not wide).The feeling is those are rather thin, which does not add to the overall feeling of quality of the sandal and while at it, perhaps also sand the leather a bit more to make the material look less like regular oiled leather or Nubuck and more like Suede which is (to me) the more funky, preppy look of a leather which I tend to like.Hope someone finds this review useful and orders the correct size and color.

Have not purchased sandals like these in a long time because they are traditionally uncomfortable. These are very comfortable sandals, to the point you could probably walk a few miles in them. Buy a half size up because they are a little tight. I did this, and they fit great. Can imagine if I bought my regular size they would be very uncomfortable. All said, a very comfortable sandal and very satisfied with my purchase.

Not a good fit for wide feet. I usually wear 9-9.5 so I ordered the 10s and they are still too narrow, also the right slipper is even more narrow than the left slipper at the Proximal Phalanx joint, causing blisters on the right foot.Good quality materials and style otherwise.

Had them on for less than 10 minutes and got blisers on both feet. The base is hard and not comfortable at all.
