The vacuum performs extremely well . It is light weight and comfortable to use . The suction is powerful ! Used it for the first time to deep clean my house and am confident it will make continuing to clean and maintain my house easier and faster . Getting on a ladder to clean high ceiling fans is a breeze now with the lightweight backpack . Did not have to struggle with a canister vac on the ladder or have someone hold the canister up while i vacuumed the fans !!

The stiff house can get in the way in tight spaces. The bag fits into a hard filter making it hard to remove a full bag. Those are my cons. I use this as a regular vacuum for a week and a half in a busy school, so far it maintains a strong suction. Once you get the straps adjusted it's a good fit. The noise is not to loud either. I don't think a small person will be comfortable, because the unit is big and a little heavy. For me, I'm happy with it so far. I can do hard and carpeted floors and stairs and corners and edges. Best part, I supported a small business.

I don’t write reviews often but Prolux has been absolutely amazing. First the harness started getting a tear in it and they sent a new harness right away. Then the backpack started overheating and wouldn’t run past 5 minutes. They told us to send it back and they will fix it. We had it boxed up at a UPS store and Prolux paid for the shipping to repair it and sent it back to us in a few days. The fact they are based out of Utah and the vacuum has a 5 year warranty gives me the confidence to buy more of these for our growing cleaning company. We will need 5 more before the end of the year. I can’t express enough how impressed I am with this company. Anna in support via email has been incredible. I would highly encourage you to do business with this company and I don’t say that lightly.

Tools did not match the wand at all so they are ALL useless. The suction power is really good and I bought it for convenience (backpack) so I can easily travel all around the house to vacuum. But what’s the use if I have to bend all the time because the hose is so short - you can’t make it longer with the wands that came with it because then you won’t be able to use the tools. What’s worse is the manufacturer only replied once to my e-mail to them because their website doesn’t have any video at all on how to solve the problem - the reply was tighten the screws - wtf!!! There are no screws at all - not in the wands , not in the tools. I’ll wait fir a few days more then return this.

I'd been trying to figure out a vacuum for my hardwood floor. My entire house has no carpet. I was looking for a backpack as I didn't want to drag or roll anything across my new and somewhat expensive floor. The Prolux 10 Quart Commercial Backpack looked promising so I took the plunge and I'm glad I did. I've bought both Dyson and Shark vacuums in the past. Not only is the Prolux less expensive than the Dyson, it's much higher quality and works amazingly well. It's the best vacuum I've owned. Also, the back and long cord allows me to clean the entire house if I plug in close to the middle of house. I am very happy with this vacuum.

The attachments are hard plastic, which are fine for carpet and anything that will not scratch. We had to buy additional attachments for hardwood.

Vacuum is comfortable for a backpack type vacuum. After wearing continuously for more than hour to complete a large job, my back did not experience any discomfort, The suction power of this vacuum is outstanding. The vacuum does not generate great amount of noise during operation. A variety of attachments come with the vacuum and will take care of any commercial requirement. The one negative is clip used to hold the power extension cord. The clip is made of plastic easily becoming detached during use. I had to stop several times while using the vacuum to reattach the clip works as it works itself free. A metal type clip would be a much better design.

I am writing this review to bring to your attention an issue we have been facing with our Proulx Backpack Vacuum machine. we have noticed that the machine tends to overheat and automatically shuts off, causing it to trip. As this machine is an important tool for our daily operations, we are concerned about this recurring issue and would appreciate your advice on how we can resolve it. We have checked the manual and tried troubleshooting, but the problem persists.
