i love this telescopic gaff, i have not use yet. But it look sturdy and well made

I've had two of these gaffs. Neither one made it through the season without breaking. This year the gaff came apart on a 20+ pound ling cod. The telescoping feature is poorly designed. Both times the inner sleeves were lost in the water. Promar/American Maple will not make it right.
