The grip is very nice and fits the mallet well, instructions were a little unclear, but its best to search up a video of how to do it.

Feels like bicycle handlebar tape. Thin and grip-ful. If your hands get sweaty while playing 4 mallet marimba, then it is perfect and you do not have to grip too hard and get no blisters. Comes with 4 strips for 2 sets of mallets. If you cut in hal, u can double the coverage to 4 sets from fulcrum to edge

I've been using this mallet wrap for more than a month now and they work wonders, the mallet doesn't slip, and it provides a firm grip.Try to wrap it as evenly as possible so you don't get small "bubbles" or "gaps" while wrapping the mallet.Try this, they do help, and if you have sweaty hands even more.
