I'm impressed! The burner out of the box looks well-built and it performed flawlessly. It is easy to control the temperature on a low level and a high level. I like that you can control the center burner and exterior burner separately. Our multiple-size cast iron pans sit perfectly on the stand and our larger pot for boils sits secure. Great purchase!!!

So I have been looking for a single burner with good control and some decent power for outdoor cooking. Anybody that is into this knows the high end ones run from around $900 to $1500 which is insane in my opinion. I had an old camp chef three burner which was basically trash so I bought this burner stripped it down , Took the grates and frame for the three burner and built an enclosure with a nice big cooking surface out of it and installed this burner in the revamped enclosure. It was a job but well worth it.The burner ha great control and plenty of power. I did find the stand pretty useless for my purposes but I knew that going in. This rig will accomodate my 17 inch Lodge cast iron and will go all the way down to a simmering sauce pan. Its perfect. These guys are reallymissing a bet by not putting an enclosure and grate type surface around this thing and selling it for a couple hundred. The pic shows a 12 inch cast iron pan with 4 big chops. I love this thing now

My husband and I have an RV and we do a lot of camping. Make sure you have a pan that is wide enough. This is got a very wide burner.Also watch where you said it it does get very hot and melted a plastic table through two pieces of cardboard.However, that was our fault it works great. We do recommend it but you need a very large frying pan or Dutch oven to use it

The stove arrived damaged from shipping and the customer support sent out a new stove with in a couple days.The new stove arrived fine and has worked and has performed great!The stove is very sturdy casting built stove.Along with great product support.

Although the item arrived damaged, likely from improper handling during shipping, the poor quality of the metal frame is evident. There were several shattered pieces of the metal lip in the box. The material used to construct the frame of the stove appears to be brittle pot metal and is unlikely to survive the normal bumps and handling. This is supported by the fact that neither of the shipping boxes were visibly damaged, and despite the styrofoam and cardboard packing, the metal lip had shattered into several pieces. The item is not returnable for some reason, but Amazon kindly agreed to refund my money.
