I’m really impressed with this weed burner torch! It’s incredibly powerful, putting out up to 120,000,000 BTUs and reaching temperatures as high as 2800 ºF. I used it for weed control, and it worked wonders—those stubborn weeds didn’t stand a chance!The torch is versatile too, with two working modes. It comes with a 1 lb propane cylinder adapter and a 10-foot hose, so you can use both small propane cylinders or the larger ones, which makes it super flexible for different jobs. I love how easy it is to adjust the flame size with the dual-regulation gas valve and the pressure trigger on the handle. You can control the flame precisely, which is great when you don’t want to risk damaging the surrounding plants.Safety is a big deal with this torch, and I feel confident using it thanks to the solid steel nozzle and the CSA-certified high-pressure hose that can handle up to 350 psi. I'm using mine to kill off weeds and ant colonies, I've even used it to melt tar into cracks in the driveway. Those are just a few of the uses for this device. So let's take a more detailed look at what you're getting for your money.Build qualityLooking the product over upon arrival, I couldn't see anything wrong with it, it wasn't cosmetically flawed or damaged in any way. Build quality seems solid enough for my needs.AssemblyAssembly is pretty straight forward as you only need to connect the two halves (pipes) of the torch together. For my needs I've decided to simply leave it assembled. But if you prefer, you can break it down and store it in a canvas storage bag (included).Propane optionsYou have two options in respect to which propane source you use. The first one is a one pound disposable, or refillable cylinder. This is what I used to test this product with and it worked fine. But be forewarned, as it won't take long to bleed a one pound cylinder dry. This isn't an issue for me as I've been using the refillable cylinders.10ft hoseThis is more than long enough for my needs. I have a small five pound tank that I carry with me. A small tank such as this strikes a good balance between capacity and portability. I unwound the hose and I plan on leaving it this way as I just find it easier to work with since it’s not repeatedly trying to coil back up.Piezo lighterTime to retire my sparker/igniter, having a built in igniter is one less thing to mess with. Having said that, I have to admit that I've had mixed results in respect to how well Piezo igniters holdup, so time will tell. Thus far this one has worked every time I've tried it.TriggerI found both the knob and lever controls easy to manipulate. You're going to have to play around with them until you find what works best for you. Remember this isn’t a fine pointed flame like you would use for soldering.Overall (for what limited I've used it) I've found this product well designed and its construction seems solid. It’s definitely a step up from my old torch (See photo) I see a lot of similarly designed torches at this price point online, so I can only comment on this one. But so far it has proven to perform all its functions as advertised and short of abusing it, I see no reason why it shouldn’t continue to work for years to come.

This propane torch weed burner is effective and easy to use. It provides strong heat output for efficient weed removal. The build quality is durable, and the ignition works reliably. Suitable for various outdoor applications. The included 10 foot long hose allows me to feel safer using it because I can keep the propane tank far enough back from my work area that I don't feel like I'm going to accidental burn down my whole field!
