It a flame throwing weed killer. It does the job well. It’s louder than one would think but thats probably true of most products like this. Very easy to use. Just make sure to take all fire precautions.If done properly, this is a great deterrent to weeds as it helps prevent seeds as well. Do not burn the plants. Simply wilt them sufficiently and they all die without going to seed.Easy to use. Just connect to a tank, turn it on and adjust the flame. Go kill weeds.

I got this to help get rid of the blackberries in our yard. They got started when the neighbors let their yard go and it filled up with them and migrated to our yard. I have cut them for years and am tired of it. I hope that this will help.I went out today and put the unit together, it was very easy, just pull the covers off of where the hose attaches and screw it together, attach the hose to the tank. It took maybe 10 minutes.The torch was easy to use, turn the knob, click the igniter, pull the handle. Adjust as needed. I spent about a half hour, using it to do a sweep on about a 10'x10' area. I don't know if I was taking too long in one place or not long enough. I guess I will see how it goes.The only problem I had was that the hose end that attaches to the wand had worked itself loose and I didn't notice until I was putting it up. I had just tightened it with my hand, next time I will use a wrench.This is a nice piece of equipment, and I would purchase again

If you cook using sous vide, you know the need for a good sear. Let me tell you, this is THEE tool for putting down a great sear.This torch is my go-to searing tool for:- Steak- Carni Asada- Pork or Beef Ribs- Pork Butt/Shoulder Roast (Carnitas)- Chicken Thighs and BreastWhy I got this:I originally got this torch as a replacement for a similar model, only, I accidentally left the guard touching the hose one day and it melted it. The cost of a hose is the price of this unit.Pros:- The built in ignition is great. I used to use a soldering torch spark before and it always gave me a jump. This is much nicer.- Dial lets you set your output just right depending on wind conditions so not to blow out.- This also works great as a yard weeding tool, I use it once a season to kill seeds in a rocked landscape. Just be responsible. Lots of great videos on this on youtube.Cons:I would LOVE if they made one of these with a braided cable so I don't accidentally melt the hose.

It’s the perfect length so you don’t need to strain your back, the flame is crazy when you hit the boost on it, Very good product, worth buying!!!

This is just what I needed. It is lightweight, has a 10’ hose and an igniter. It makes weed burning very easy. The wand is just long enough to keep your distance from the burning weeds. The flame burst is easily controlled with the trigger.

Bought this torch kit to burn away unsightly weeds that are growing in the joints in our concrete driveway. Worked great, but unfortunately the weeds grew back right away. Was hoping for an effective chemical free weed control solution, but did not work. I don't recommend for weed control, otherwise great product that appears to be well made and sturdy.

Us up here in the Northeast we were unable to find melting salt anywhere! I bought this to melt the thick ice at my house and a friend’s house. I was able to clear a safe walkway to and from my house. It worked great!!!!!

Finally got around to firing this up, and wow, did it perform. Super hot yet very easy to adjust the flame with the control knob. Cleared out unwanted weeds and grass. Tried to kill a few small trunks of buckthorn trees, so we’ll see in a few weeks/months if any growth comes back.

Works great to great rid of weeds in driveway. Only issue is propane doesn’t last that long., but it did clean up are gravel drive way nicely.
