I realize that everyone has particular preferences when it comes to Boonie Hats; but the Propper Nyco Ripstop Boonie is perfect for me. I am a former Marine and this boonie meets all my expectations. Quality, Fit, and Sizing are consistent with any good hat I've ever owned. The bonus is the PRICE! When I received this hat today and tried it on, I immediately ordered another one.

I have another hat from a different company. Same size but this one is larger (or the other is abnormally small) either way this runs big.

Get it wet and dirty a couple times to break it in but mine's seen plenty of field use with no issues. Good OCP pattern/color, solid stitching, and true to size.

Propper is proper (couldn't help the pun). I like the hat sizing instead of one-size-fits-all, and the brim is sufficiently rigid and stitched to stay up. Cheap Chinese boonies with their floppy brims, thin fabric, and "bleeding" rivets that degrade the fabric aren't even in the same league.

States one size fits all. Not true I wear a size 7 hat this fits pretty large. To the point I can pull it over my ears with room to spare. Nice hat/product but size info is very incorrect!!! 7.5 min and 8.5 hat size max.no b.s.
