Works great with my alto sax! Nicely padded and stays put. You can also use this with a tenor but if you’re playing for hours, you might want to consider a harness for a tenor to save your neck in the long run.I find this strap works great with both my alto and soprano. This has a metal instrument hanger and spreader. It is very comfortable to wear for hours of practice and performance. I’m considering buying a second one to keep in each case.

I play alto, and i wasn’t expecting this neck strap to be so long. It stays in place well and is very comfortable and doesnt put too much strain on the back of my neck when i play. I have to push it all the way up for the mouthpiece to reach my mouth, but other than that, a great neck strap!

Very easy to adjust and locks solidly with the weight of the sax. Very comfortable and makes long sessions so much more enjoyable. I don’t see any need to spend more for the leather protec one, this one is excellent.

First - I’m a 40 year sax player….. Took some time off and got back to playing 10 years ago…. Never upgraded my gear until recently and found that the old neck straps were good at the time but I like the feel of this newer style. I feel I can move more air and am less constricted in the throat area. Great upgrade and this brand seems solidly made and I feel good about using it on my Pro Horn (Selmer Super Action80) and not afraid of it breaking. Looks pretty good too! It will look good when you are dressed up for a gig - can’t go wrong with black… - or very acceptable dressed down.
