Its far more durable an rigid than i thought it would be.I took it off after a few weeks because the vibration was too much butFor racing application..this is the best mount for ur money.. excellent stability from back-torque and downshifting! 👌

After looking at a posting in the Nissan Owners forum, I was expecting to be able to press out the existing rubber insert and replace it with the Prothane insert; similar process for fitting the 14-502 right engine mount. For my Australian model, the 14-502 mount would have proved to be the right size insert. I ended up cutting out the existing rubber mount fitting thus re-using the metal retaining ring to get a perfect fit.I definitely needed to pack out the centre metal tube insert with spring washers for the transmission mount to prevent excessive chassis vibration. At this stage I have not yet fitted the rear engine mount insert because it does not need replacing and I do not want any extra chassis vibration.Note: This is a solid mount so you do have to expect a bit more vibration than the standard rubber mounts.

front and rear torque mounts on 99 G20. keep the metal shell and these work well.

Great mount, if you are buying this for a 96 200sx SE-R like i did make sure that you have the original motor mount bracket. Doesn't fit the aftermarket one. I used window weld 3M (polyurethane) to fill the voids.
