The shipment arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, the smaller diameter bushings do not fit. The diameter is too small and I had to make a sleeve that reduces the diameter. Also, the inner metal bushing does not fit the original screw, it is too big.

Loss of 1 star for inaccurate compatibility claims. Do yourself a favor and measure the diameter of your shackle bushing. This kit comes with the 1-3/8†version but MANY of these trucks use the 1-1/2†version…like my 97 suburban. Unless you can find the right kit you may be better off piecing it together from smaller sets. The correct bushing for the 1-1/2†is Prothane part number 7-807. I didn’t measure the spring eyes, so I can’t comment on if those are also 1-1/2â€. If they are 1-1/2â€, the 87 and older kit may work. That being said, these seem to be relatively high quality parts. The included grease is super thick and sticky. I would probably just use the grease I have on hand in the future.

Shackle bushing doesn't work for a suburban. Do yourself a favor and just buy new shackles. Other then that. HELL YEAH BROTHER!!!!!

I'm sure I could rate these higher if they actually fit my 1996 Suburban, but they don't. The smaller bushings are designed to fit in the spring shackle, but the diameter is too small. Do not buy this kit for your 1996 K1500 Suburban.

This is a great deal and a well made product. However the shackle bushings were too small. I was able to use them after I fabricated some spacer sleeves.

Whew what a bastard to install. Not because this was wrong. It was getting the old rotted rubber ones out!
