Solid mounts indeed. I put these in under my SM465 Muncie and no longer have a wicked BANG when I shift into second. If you're going to replace your tranny mounts, get these. I put a little wheel bearing grease on the surfaces that contact the cross-member to prevent any possible squeaks over time.Easy to install, I jacked up the transmission a little, slipped out the old and slipped in the new, took about 30 minutes.Works on 1984 Chevy K20 manual 4 speed.
