I expected this to be of comparable durometer to the rest of the prothane bushings I bought for my front upper and lower control arms, but the lower bushings in this kit are rock solid with absolutely no give. If you tap them against each other it sounds like smacking Legos together. I'm a bit concerned about potential side loading on the strut shaft due to how hard they are as the suspension moves through its range. It could potentially cause premature shock failure. Would have been better if the lca bushings in the other kit were made of this stiffness, and the shock bushings made of the softer durometer that the lca bushings are made of

Aaaaagh sums it up. My og ES set finally started to wear out in the center. Apparently these go bad too over a longer time then og rubber. With that being sad, don't think you do these once, drive 160,000+ miles on them and assume you can get another 160,000 on them. AINT happening. Not with these MI roads at least. Pothole State. lol
