I have been traveling with my 2017 iPad Pro and Apple Smart Keyboard instead of my laptop, but the iPad and keyboard recently "unfriended" one another. I don’t know which is at fault, but the obvious and least expensive solution was a Bluetooth keyboard. This new folding keyboard was easy to set up, and works perfectly with my iPad as well as my phone. So maybe I could even leave the iPad at home. A function key combination switches it between paired devices, which is cool. The new keyboard is small and light, but not flimsy. The keys are protected by folding, just right for travel. It is pleasant to type on. I have big hands and they do not feel any more cramped than on the Apple keyboard.The two things I didn’t immediately like were that if I type with it on my lap it wants to fold, (so I reposition it over one leg) and if my hands are sloppy the bottom hinge rubs my right thumb (so I correct my hand posture to lift my wrists, as I was originally taught). The little fold-flat stand that comes with the keyboard is angle-adjustable, supports the ipad with its case, and the design is ingenious.So I'm very happy with this purchase, which is saving me a lot of money by prolonging the life of my iPad.

I needed a good portable keyboard for travel. After looking at various models of foldable keyboards, and based on the reviews, I chose this one. I’m glad I did. The keyboard pairs w/ three separate devices, so I have it paired w/ my iPhone, my iPad and my wife’s iPad. This ability to pair w/ multiple devices offers a wonderful degree of flexibility. One keyboard in the luggage and my wife and I are set. The keyboard appears to be very well made. It folds flat and very compactly. It is light, but the materials appear to be of good quality. I’m expecting good durability. Some reviewers complain that this keyboard is not really suitable for lap use. I disagree. I’m typing this review w/ the keyboard on my lap w/o difficulty. It has sufficient “rigidity†when open so that it doesn’t close up by itself, or even under moderate typing pressure. It would be nice if it had a mechanism that “locked†it open; but honesty, it’s fine as is. The key “travel†is very good and provides an excellent typing experience. My only complaint is that I wish it had illuminated keys. That feature would be very helpful, but even w/o that, this product deserves it’s 5 star rating.

This is the perfect travel keyboard if space is an issue as it folds extremely flat and secure.But unless you are a solid touch typist who never looks at the keyboard, having adequate light is a must. If they had used a lighter background color to offset the keys a little better this would be a solid 5 star rating. Keys are very responsive, built is solid, and typing on it does not feel cramped. Battery life is excellent. I love using it as long as I can see the keys. I am mostly a touch typist, but I still like to see the keys if I have to correct something.All in all, definitely recommended.

I tried one other foldable keyboard for travel and didn’t like how it felt to use. This one is swell — keys have a nice feel, are enough separated that bigger fingers should find them easy to use, and the folded size is compact for travel packing. I use a Bluetooth keyboard at home with my laptop, but it’s a bit too clunky for the type of packing/travel I like, so I know what I’m looking for in a separate small keyboard. When opened for use, this ProtoArc is sturdy and doesn’t move. I pair it with my phone (small stand for the phone comes with keyboard), so I can work in Word or just surf the internet more easily with this setup. I used to carry my iPad with keyboard case when traveling, but this is now my go-to in most situations. Excellent product, especially for the price. Great value.

I have just started using this keyboard and it is almost perfect though considering its price I will keep it at 5 stars.I wanted something to pair with my iPad mini while I am on the go and this is pretty close to being the perfect solution for me as I can throw my whole setup into a tiny side bag. I didn’t care for other keyboards that had keypads and num pads on the side and I didn’t mind that the keyboard does not lock in the open position as I would be mostly using this on a table for some light word processing. The keys feel pretty nice, the key caps aren’t too small (I have medium sized hands) and it is nice to have the option to pair three different devices.Now on to things that could be better.I would happily pay triple the price of this keyboard if it was made of nicer plastics, an aluminum case and more durable keycaps. I wish the overall size of the keyboard was a little bit bigger to allow for a larger battery and a more standard keyboard layout and I wish the USB C port was on the top and not on the side.Overall very good product considering the price!

I just got this keyboard and I’ve been using it for a couple days. It has literally helped me so much, writing journal entries and stories and anything I want quickly without hurting my fingers on the tiny phone screen. We all know that typing on it hurts after a while. And this encourages me to do what I love, write.I can balance my phone right above it on my lap and type wherever, usually on buses or waiting for the bus. I can finally use my time commuting productively instead of scrolling on social media lol. (btw I wrote this review on the keyboard)

I’ve been using this mini folding keyboard for a few weeks now, and it’s been a game-changer for my travel routine! It’s incredibly lightweight (only 5.97 ounces) and compact when folded, making it super easy to slip into my bag without taking up much space. The PU leather surface adds a nice touch of durability and protection, which is great for keeping it looking new while on the go.The multi-device connectivity is a standout feature—being able to switch between three devices seamlessly is super convenient for multitasking. I use it with my iPad, smartphone, and laptop without any issues, and the Bluetooth connection stays stable within the 33ft range. Plus, the Type-C rechargeable battery lasts a long time. I can get over 150 days of standby on a full charge, which is amazing for such a small device.The keyboard is responsive and easy to type on, although the keys do feel a bit compact, so it might take a little getting used to if you have larger hands. This is a great product at a reasonable price. I find the keyboard on my MS Surface to be too small. The foldable keyboard fits into my briefcase and is a delight to use.

I bring this keyboard with me to do work on my tablet away from home and its very compact and easy to toss in a bag. The keyboard doesnt snap into place upon opening so if you put it on your lap it wont be flat, but the key response is fairly good.
