I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of this radio. Vintage look with modern features-bluetooth, SD card and USB MP3 connectivity. Even has shortwave radio reception. By the way, radio reception is outstanding. no hiss or dropouts anywhere. Picks up more stations than I realized were broadcasting in my area. Didn't have to use the built in antenna for most FM stations. Don't hesitate to buy this radio if you are looking for something simple that delivers great sound and features. Amazing value and performance.

Great little radio. Tunes all local fm stations and a few more than most radios we have.Very compact.The clarity is great. The speaker itself is NOT a boombox... not high fidelity. It is a tiny little speaker on a tiny little radio, which SHOULD be what one expects on such a small unit with the price they are asking. Sounds good and clear but not going to thump DMX sound.Shortwave option is cool and was able to bring in three sw stations. Not very clear, but moving the radio around to different landscape features may get you a bit more clarity and a few more stations. The antennae is too small I'd guess for pulling in good sw stations. Get an actual sw receiver if that's your primary goal.Otherwise, great little unit for a hallway credenza or front covered porch. Waiting area type setting.I like the look. The cabinet is fairly solid, albeit a light little unit.I expect the solar panel to be a novelty just like MOST solar powered battery banks.Fun little radio for park or picnics. Not sure how long battery would last. This isn't a backpacking radio.

Just got this and I’m amazed at how well it works and sounds. I collect transistor radios of the 50-70s and it sounds a lot better than most of them. It also plays MP3s via thumb drive or sd card. I particularly like that I can leave it in the sun and it’s always ready to play via its replaceable lithium battery. It works well enough that i haven’t installed and don’t intend to install the dry cell batteries it can also accept.This compact radio looks great and is well worth the $20+ it costs.

Great radio for my office. Reception is good but no different than I would expect from any other radio. Blue tooth connectivity is easy to use. I use low volume so the sound is pleasant. Overall I am happy with the product.

So I bought this radio for a White Elephant Christmas exchange game, with the family. Normally I buy the gift for my husband and I, Later I tell him what we bought to join the fun. The game starts and my husband went straight to the Radio and he did not let it go. Long story we kept/won the radio and my husband uses it almost every weekend. it super cool. bluetooth, AM/FM (Picks up stations perfectly). works using plug, solar, or batteries. sound is great and looks super cute on our fireplace mantel, definitely gives a retro feel.

I have two other different models from them and wanted to try this one out. It’s a little powerhouse radio. Solar works great and the speaker is small but is loud enough.Nostalgic looking radio that is cute.The only thing I would like on it would be an earbuds plug and possibly a cover for the solar panel. I will make one out of duct tape and cardboard.

Love this radio, both for it's looks and it's features. Everything works. When I first got it, I charged it fully through the wall outlet as per the instructions and it charged pretty quickly, in under two hours though it said it would take longer.The sound quality is great and you can turn up the volume quite high if you need to.It is also quite lightweight and the handle is both durable and makes it very easy to carry.The solar panel and antenna both fold well out of the way. I haven't yet tried the solar charging panel so I can't really comment on it. You can also insert two D Batteries as well.The shortwave mode also works but you have to be in the right area or time of day to reach anything. I don't really know much about shortwave reception though so I'll have to work with it more to see how effective the reception can be. I did pick up some signals when I brought the radio near an open window at dusk.I did put some music on a micro sd card after formatting it to FAT32 on my computer as per the instruction manual and when I inserted it into the radio, it played the music once I switched the radio to "Music" mode. And again the sound quality is great! And the pause, fast forward, and previous/rewind buttons work also. Do note that the micro sd card is referred to as a "TF" on the radio and also in the manual. And the card does go most of the way in but not all of the way in but does fit well and won't fall out.All in all, a great product! I would recommend!

Cute little radio. It came on time and was the size as stated. Light weight and it picked up many am/fm stations (more than my Dewalt portable radio). The short range channels were fun to listen to, as a Canadian I picked up a few USA broadcasters. It hooked up to my phone (Bluetooth) with no issues. The station display is very small so you have to turn the tuning knob very slightly to go thru the channels. The sound is reasonable, a little too much bass in some songs (no adjustments ie. bass, treble etc on the radio) don't expect Bose quality sound. I bought it because it was both battery powered and solar but haven't tried it out in the sun yet.Overall it met my expectations for a $40 battery/solar powered radio.

Very happy with this radio. It has solar panels, can be recharged and is also battery operated so I really like the variety of options to play it. Sound is excellent and it’s small enough that it doesn’t take up much space at all and it’s vintage looking which is a nice bonus.
