Purchased this a year ago.A lot of reviews for products on Amazon, are comparing Product A to a higher priced Product B. But this is a $10 dollar radio. That needs to be remembered. Not a $100 dollar radio. So for this price point, it seems like a great radio. For this price, it is very good. Feels solid, and looks great. The sound seems very good. There is no Bass or Treble adjustment. This radio does have a volume control wheel, which is more handy than button adjustment. A nice feature. This is also a FM ONLY radio. It does that job well.I actually bought it for it's ability to record FM radio. The included instructions are ok, could be better, but most of the radio is intuitive. For recording, it seems to do that fine. No adjustments for bit rate. But the audio is clear.I am using it to record my SiriusXM Home Radio. I use a FM broadcaster (bought off of Amazon.com), then I use this little radio to record the SiriusXM. Seems to work well. Finally, in the product answers to questions (here on Amazon) it states that the TF CARD limit is a 32GB card. But I inserted a 64GB TF Card that was laying around the house, formatted it for Fat32 and it seems to be working. We will see.The Radio will also play mp3 files. So you can use it as an inexpensive mp3 player. The radio is small. One interesting design, is the FM radio Antenna is actually the "carry strap".Really for the money, its a great value. FM Radio, MP3 Player, Radio Recorder, and it appears, also a voice and sound recorder (haven't verified that yet).If you want a little FM Radio or MP3 player, with FM Recorder (there are not many of those around for this price) for under 20 Bucks, this seems to be a great deal.I plan on using it to record favorite programs for listening to later.I think it is a good value for the money.

This little radio very pleasantly surprised me especially with regard to the volume and quality of the sound it produces! I've just placed an order for a 3rd one, and I'll then have 2 for myself, and I've a friend that's VERY grateful for the one I gave them as a gift. You can put this in your pocket and not know it's there - pull it out, turn it on, and you'll be amazed! There is no external/telescoping antenna to deal with, break, manipulate. The 'con' side of that is if you want to listen to 'weak' stations, this is not the right radio for you. But if the station has reasonably good signal strength, this radio has impressive 'no antenna' sensitivity and selectivity.

I wanted an inexpensive (First off it didn't recognize the TF/SD card -- but when I used the Record function for a couple of seconds, it then happily found my book files. For file transfer, I remove the (not-included) TF/SD card, connect to PC, transfer files, then return card to player. There is not much of a display (it's mostly an FM radio) -- so I don't load it up with a bunch of stuff (too hard to find by folder/file number). Mainly, one book on it at a time. That's just me. You can have folders and multiple books.I'd keep an eye on the filename/folder length -- many of these types devices are happier with short (8 character) filenames -- though it seems to handle longer ones okay. When you turn it on in TF/SD card mode, it automatically starts playing where you left off. This is great for audiobooks. I turn it on, it starts the book where I left off. I pause and turn it off when done. (I was worried I'd have to remember where I left off -- but it does this.)Volume is controller with a little dial on the side. For its size, it's remarkably loud and clear. It goes from 1 to 30, and in a room with fans and AC going, 10 is plenty loud.I can't speak to the other functions, or the lifespan, but so far it's working the way I want it to. A simple device, loud internal speaker, and it plays MP3 audiobooks (and/or music) from a TF/SD card. For me, I have it doing one thing -- play books distraction free. And it suits that just fine.

This little portable radio has some positives worth mentioning. The channel receptions are really good due to the lanyard antenna. The digital display is quite legible. However, it also has some shortcomings. For one, one cannot manually store stations into the memory. So as it scans for stations, it decides which stations to store. As a result, it ends up storing a bunch of stations that are just statics. It does so because so because the signals are strong. The frustrating part is that I cannot change them.I use a Sony MX- 4 headset with this radio. This headset sounds awesome when connected to most sound sources. However, when connected to this radio, the sound is flat and anemic. The other thing is that the manufacturer could have added a belt clip to the back of the device to facilitate portability. In fact, I would have preferred a version with the belt clip instead of the speaker.

First of all, this is a legit review -- I bought this on my own without any freebies etc. I just wanted a compact radio to play here and there around the house. So this item was under 30 bucks, and I figured I wouldn't lose too much if it turned out to be a let down. There were plenty of others at twice the price, mediocre reviews. This one had good reviews, but I figured those were probably green fielded reviews (fake).Nope. This radio is really cool! The tuning selection is direct push button instead of dial, so it is quick dead on, and there is no station drift -- it stays locked on.The sound is crazy good for a little device this size. Of course it is not for dancing to, but the sound is clear, crisp, full, and has the depth of a desktop radio of similar type. But it fits easily in a pocket (a little wider and thicker than a pocket memo recorder), and it fits easily in a jacket chest pocket, with room to spare. The build is solid and well finished, and the device adds radio recording, voice recording, and microSD file play on top of the radio.Battery does not last as long as AAAs in a similar radio; but then again, this one is rechargeable via USB in a little over an hour (I think). It goes for a decent amount of time (I am guessing about 6 - 10 hours, depending on volume). But then again there is obviously a decent little amp driving a good speaker in there, so the relative high fidelity is worth the extra current draw (it is a 3W amp... pretty good). I also only recently bought the radio, and since lithium batteries sometimes need a few charge cycles to reach full capacity, it may improve. To sum up, I don't normally write reviews because I am busy and lazy, but this item is so good I wanted to let others know it's worth buying. This would make a very good gift for someone travelling, working in an office, using it with headphones around town, on the bathroom counter in the morning (not waterproof though...), for young people's birthdays etc., party favours, and so on. And get one for yourself they're great and not too expensive. This little radio is simply very good quality, and a pleasant surprise to use.
