Based off of how these looked in the pictures, I was expecting something that looked and felt more cotton-y. These are slick but soft polyester, the type of "tech" fabric my boys wear in their shirts and pants. I've never see this as a material in underwear, but my son said it was comfortable. I'm not convinced it's the best, most breathable option to have right up tight against your skin, especially in that area, but I guess we'll see.His other comments were that they were longer than he's used to and than he prefers, but "he'll still wear them". He said the waistband is comfortable and he likes that they're truly tagless.I noticed there's no hidden fly in these, unlike every other pair of underwear and boxer briefs I've ever bought for my boys, but my son said he doesn't use it anyway. Just something to note if you're used to having that as a feature.At $15 for one pair, I likely would never buy these outright. For that price, I'd better be getting at least 4 or 5 pairs!

Very soft but almost have a silky feel to them which may or may not be your preference. They do run longer than some of our other boxer briefs. I can see these would be ideal for sports since they’re longer and stick more to the leg. But I can’t imagine wearing these every day under casual clothes - they don’t seem especially breathable. Overall soft and comfortable, a tad long, great for sports.
