I was nervous about getting this visor and didn't know what to expect in terms of quality, but man, I am pretty blown away. I put this visor on my AGV K6 S helmet, which is a size XL. The fit and finish of this visor is just awesome, and the color of the mirrored blue is absolutely LOVELY. The side attachment slide mechanisms work just great, so taking it on and off the helmet is a breeze. It comes "Pinlock-ready" (it comes with the little studs on the sides of the visor pre-installed) and I'm happy to report that I installed one (a name brand Pinlock insert) in less than a minute, and it fit PERFECTLY. My only minor gripe is that the visor felt a little "sticky" when you lock it closed - opening it back up felt a bit reluctant, but I just grabbed a Q-tip, sprayed a little little spritz of silicone spray lubricant on it, wiped down the lock tab at the bottom of the visor, and then it was perfect and opened with ease. Because this thing is so nice, I just can't deduct a star based on that minor and easily solved quibble. When you consider that an OEM visor from AGV goes for well over a hundred bucks, this visor is such a fantastic value! Easily 5/5 stars, and I plan on buying another one in a different color, because variety is the spice of life!

I’ve bought a few off brand transition visors now and have had good luck. $80 vs $200 plus is a big difference but an $80 gamble for sure. This visor has been great. I have actually purchased 2 of these now, one for my K6 and one for my wife’s K6s and we both like them. The fit is good, the pinlock insert fits perfectly to prevent fogging, sound is no different, and the transition to light is really quick. I don’t think the transition function could be any better on the brand name visor. Definitely worth the investment to not having to worry about getting caught with a tinted visor on when it gets dark. This visor looks good and works.

Install is simple, just has to put a little effort and play with the latch to lock in place. As mentioned, the photochromic is great. It gets dark when the sun is out and lightens up when the sun comes down. The visor seems wider than the AGV that comes with the helmet (seen in the photo), which I believe is why it doesn’t seal properly. The stock visor, in the closed position would sit and press against the rubber around the opening of the helmet, creating a seal. This doesn’t seal on either side. Just towards the center of top and bottom of the opening. Because of this, it is harder to unlatch when opening. Expect to have more wind noise and slight breeze while riding over 45mph.

Visor fits well and pinlock installs just like factory. Noise is just slightly above factory visor when fully closed but it’s barely noticeable. Auto dimming works extremely well. Visor is clear at night but as dark as sunglasses when in the sun.

Nice looking visor. Too bad it won’t stay up when I raise it. Often when I’m getting gas stopping to communicate with my riding buddies or sitting at a light I want to raise my visor. It’s irritating as all hell. After comparing to my clear visor we discovered the pins that ride in the corrugated slot were too small tried a small piece of wire insulation we epoxied in place and it worked for about a couple of hours.

It is not original photochromic visor. The original priced at 80$, bought this one thinking it’s same. Doesn’t fit the pin lock which came with the helmet. Also came with some scratches. I will be returning it

For the price, the Visor is awesome. It snaps tighter than the OEM one, & the clips to install on sides were tighter. However the price & quality are perfect!! I’ll be buying more in different colors!!
