This is a cute set of faux books...but bear in mind that there *IS* some assembly required. I was kind of surprised when they arrived in a very flat box. However, upon looking at them, if you can fold a box together, you can manage the assembly without any issues. The colors of each of the books are complementary, and if desired, it's easy to split the set up into two different sets - one of the muted pastels, and one of the black and whites. There's a tiny bit of weight to the covers, so they should stand up quite nicely. My only fear is that the interior box may collapse over time - but that's to be expected for this type of construction. Overall, as long as you don't expect a guest to actually try to pick up one of these books, they will be incredibly cute on a shelf!

These books are cute. They are not something to put on a coffee table because up close you can tell they are fake. However, they are very cute for shelf decor.

For what these are, they are a great idea and a good value. They are basically gift boxes with book-like covers. We recently moved and donated almost all of our books. Of course, our new house has several bookshelves that needed at least a few books so these decorative books were a great short-term solution. Overall, they're pretty good. I knocked off one star because the Italy book title was cut off on the spine (which is the only part you really see). Other than that - I think it's an economical solution to needing book fillers in a pinch.

I know these are decorative books, but I thought they would be blank books. They come as flat cardboard pieces that you have to put together like a box, so they look super fake if you leave the pages sides sticking out. The adhesive works well to keep them together, but I misaligned my first one that I put together and now I can't get it open to readjust it. Honestly kinda wish I'd never ordered these. They'll look fine from afar if I display them with the spines out, but you could get a better product elsewhere

I just got a new bookcase and was keen to get some nice decorative items for it. I was a little bit sceptical of buying cardbook books but figured I'd give it a try. I ordered the seven piece set and I love them! it took about 15 minutes to put the set together and when it was finished I sat back and admired them. Really cute! My advice would be to use a light but firm touch when folding over the front cover to the sides - the first book I put together has slightly creased sides as I was too heavy handed. I like these and recommend.

I like these to fill in a big spot on my bookshelf, much cheaper than waiting to buy more books. They're easy to put together and look natural on the shelf. A bonus is that they are each empty inside so they can double as stash books/places to hide valuables. Definitely recommend for both of those reasons.
