My dog was getting old and struggle to keep his long legs under him. Stairs were getting a little dangerous, so I bought these carpet treads for extra traction. They look great and were so easy to install. They are also super easy to remove and clean. I have had them over a year now, and they still look fantastic! My baby has passed, but now there is a new little Tasmanian devil in the house, and the extra traction is great for her high energy zooming up and down the stairs. I have to say they are super comfy under my feet as well with shoes, socks, or bare tootsies. They are definitely worth the purchase, and I'd buy them again in a second, but these seem to be holding up extremely well!

I purchased these carpeted stair treads after seeing my mother’s elderly cat slip on her wood stairs. A fall would be a devastating injury at his age so I started searching for a solution. These stair treads were the solution. Now he can go up and down the stairs with confidence as he can dig his claws in to help with stability. As a bonus, my mother also feels more secure going up and down the stairs.In terms of installation, it doesn’t get much easier. I vacuumed the stairs and then wiped them down to remove any remaining debris. I laid them all out first to assure they were even and used a piece of painter’s tape to mark where to put them down once I peeled off the plastic backing. It was no problem peeling the plastic backing off and laying them back down on the stairs. I would say it took about 30 minutes to complete the process and the cat tried them out within minutes.My mother’s only comment is they do hold onto pet hair so they need to be cleaned with a sticky roller to remove that buildup. Even with that drawback, they are still a 5/5 due to appearance, ease of installation, and the instant improved footing on the stairs. Highly recommend.

We really like these stair treads, our old ones were sliding around and our toddler kept removing them from the stairs. These are perfect and once down do not move at all, they are very sticky, but still removable. They were also really easy to place and align, just remove the plastic liner and slowly put in place. I did have to readjust once or twice when I didn't have the corner flush against the stairs, but it was easy enough to lift up a bit and adjust. When running my hands over the treads, there is a bit of oil or chemical that came off onto my hands, so I made sure to vacuum them thoroughly once applied. There is no smell though. We had some spillage once and had to remove one stair tread to clean it, however the hard edge supports inside broke, so if you are lifting these up, roll them to the front slowly instead of trying to lift up from one edge to the other. Luckily I still had 2 extra that I could replace with.

I highly recommend these treads (and have to my friends). The color is as stated, soft, very easy to install, minimizes slipping and noise on steps, and still allows visibility to the riser. And, if removed it doesn’t damage the original stain.

I bought these for my mom because she would constantly complain other stair mats (flimsy rug pieces) would not stay in place. She would buy the nonslip foam for the bottom but that didn’t work. I came across these and decided to gift them for Christmas, especially since my parents are getting older, I don’t want them to slip and they fall down the stairs. It’s been a few months and they are still in place. They were easy to install and stay in place with the sticky bottoms. Not sure how they will be to remove to wash but it’s like carpet so you can use a carpet cleaner. The bullnose style looks really nice on her stairs too. Both my parents love them and I am at ease to know these won’t slip from underneath their feet.

Good quality well worth the money I can’t tell you how well they stay in place because I installed them over existing rugged stairs and anchored them in place and they look great a lot cheaper than replacing the rug very please with the outcome

These are so helpful with my old dog going up and down. They stay put and do the trick. I will do another color next time as this is a bit too caramel for my taste but also hides dirt. I do recommend as as alternative to an installed staircase runner. They are soft underfoot and easy to vacuum. I had them installed within 10 minutes.

It is what it is. Carpet strips for stair treads without slipping. The box is very large (pieces are not rolled up). But a good recommendable product.

“Adhesive†on back doesn’t keep them stuck down, had to use tape. Within one month of use (no shoes in the house), they are already showing significant wear patterns with the carpet on the lip almost worn off.

These adhesive carpet stair treads were a game changer for our elderly dog. She would occasionally slip on our hardwood stairs and was getting more tentative to even give them a try. These stairs treads were all she needed! The design isn’t too “old lady†and the cover for the adhesive was easy to remove. I like that they’re molded to curve over the front too, it looks more professional.

great product and value...but all carpet treads we have found requires heavy duty carpet glue and stapling to ensure it does not come off (especially around the nose part of the stairs)...and espsecially whey you have pets and kids running around...great product otherwise
