This is rated very HIGH (4.5 out of 5 stars) on Dog Food Advisor and yet is reasonably priced. I like the ingredients and the fact that it looks like stew. It also doesn’t have that bad smell that so many canned foods have. Plus my dog loves it!

My dogs won't eat just dry kibble. (One of them is so gourmet he wouldn't eat puppy food, had to have what the adults were having and he's actually stolen a saucepan and spatula when dinner was late. Must be the reincarnation of a French chef--French poodle.) He LOVES this food. I split it with good quality limited ingredient kibble and he's very happy to get it. It smells like people food and you probably could fool someont that this is beef and barley stew. The older dog is less fussy but has a more sensitive stomach, and she's doing well on it also. They clean their bowls when served this, and they aren't happy with other fare.My vet says grain is fine for dogs and in fact, she doesn't recommend grain free food at all. The barley is a good quality high fiber ingredient.
