This has really helped my 15 year old dog. I’m the type who’s always fed her whatever but she started scratching non stop 6 months ago. She’s a border collie and they have nice fur although hers had started to get bad dandruff. Suddenly she could stop scratching and it wasn’t fleas. It was allergies. She got a shot and was put on this and voila-no more problems! It costs a lot but I want her to be comfy and this stuff works! They call your vet because the vet needs to prescribe it. There’s another brand that also works but it costs even more-don’t bother. Before this I had tried fish oil, really good foods but this is great stuff!

My cocker spaniel used to scratch/bite her body so much to the point she would get sores. More than once she had to wear the cone of shame.Since switching to this diet, her eyes are not red and she doesn't scratch constantly. In fact, the vet stated that she seems healthier (even her private areas are better). It was explained to me that her body couldn't break down the proteins like other dogs so this hydrolyzed stretched out ... more like in a strand. (Sorry, I am not technical... all I know, she seems to be happier since going on this diet.)Note: I do believe my dog suffers from seasonal allergies... and this will not resolve those issues.

It is very expensive. That’s always my first thought. I wanted to try something new for dogs to see if would improve their overall health 12 & 13 yr old shitzus with chronic dry eye, poor teeth. I can’t really tell a difference. They were getting anal fistulas while on Purina One. I’m sure this food is better for them. But with 2 kids and 1 on the way this week, can not afford this crazy price tag every month or so. Dogs seem to like it. Their stool is smaller and a lot darker than before. Won’t but it again with the price. But will look to it again short term if fistulas return.

Our beagle is allergic to almost everything including chicken... vet recommended trying this food and she loves it. We love that her allergies are finally under control (at least food wise.) We have tried almost every other food on her very short list of foods ok to eat and finally decided to try this in the chicken flavor. She has no adverse reactions to it and we don't have to hunt it down, thanks to amazon. 1 bag last about 2 months for us.

My dog cannot eat regular food without getting sick. This is the first dry food I have been able to feed him that doesn’t cause him to get sick.
