My little pug/English bull mix had gotten to be 66 pounds, a very unhealthy weight for him. My vet came up with a choice of 3 vet prescribed kibbles to help him lose weight and keep it off. Purina was by far the most affordable, and it is a trusted brand so we went with that. The first six months he lost 8 pounds, and when he went in for his annual checkup last week he weighed in at 52 pounds. He loves the food, which is high in fiber. After eating he is thirsty and the water he drinks mixed with the food to keep his tummy satisfied. But the best news is his overall health. He runs like a puppy, and is very playful. We couldn’t be more pleased.

Weve been using this food for about 6 months, our dog ahas a bad thyroid. She has lost about 15lbs. At first it was a 35lb bag for $79 and the price has increased to $112 now the size of the bag is going to 25lbs for $109? Were looking for alternatives now. Good product but has got to expensive!
