I usually purchase a 25 lb bucket of stabilizer each year to save some money on pool cares most expensive chemical. This year due to the continuing inflation of the economy, the company I usually purchased from has raised the price of stabilizer by more than double from $70 to $165 a bucket. Thanks Joe. I decided to shop around and found this product. It comes in a bag instead of a bucket which I prefer, but the price was much more affordable. I just poured the product into the leftover bucket from last year.Overall, good value, and the product works as it's supposed to. If the price is right next year I'll purchase again.

I'm a purist when it comes to pool chemicals and only use what is absolutely necessary (salt, borax, baking soda, muriatic acid, and Cyanuric acid). I have a salt water pool and Cyanuric acid (stabilizer) is one of those necessary chemicals. The easiest way to add to your pool is to put some in a filter sock (or some other permeable material) and place in the skimmer basket. It'll take a few days to dissolve with no mess. Keep adding more until the proper dosage is met. I've purchased this chemical before from Puritech so I am satisfied with it's performance. Pool chemicals have gotten crazy expensive and I did a lot of comparisons on the internet looking for the best deal. The 25# size seems to have the best value so that's what I ordered. I expect this to last several years.

Works fine at a better price than the local pool store.

Significantly less expensive than the pool or hardware store product. It is packed in a heavy plastic bag inside a cardboard box. This ended up being the most trouble free year our pool has ever had. I cannot help but believe it was the superior quality of the cyanuric acid. Every other year, with cyanuric acid from Leslie's, I have had to dump in tons of chlorine, and use green out even though cyanuric acid level was supposedly OK and keeping the pool from looking like a swamp was a struggle. This year, we used about 30 # of chlorine in our 40,000 gal pool, and about two gallons of acid, one quart of phos free. I have no real explanation. On the down side. My order for one box of cyanuric acid, two boxes of calcium chloride, and one box of soda ash, was missing the cyanuric acid. I had to notify Amazon to get a refund and then reorder the cyanuric acid, which delayed opening the pool by two weeks.
