Because this replacement filter is 1/4 inch longer (8.25 inches vs 8 inches, I had to Jam it into the cabin filter cavity. Luckily the clips on the cabin filter cavity cover are strong enough to hold the filter in place. I should have done my due diligence and measured and compared before I bought this replacement. Like the old saying, measure twice, cut once.
