I was starting to believe that there aren't any mid/high quality shears sold on Amazon. For the price.... these shears go above and beyond. I was just hoping to find an adequate backup shear and as of now these are it! As of now, I can't speak for longevity but as of right now these 5" purple dragon shears work just as good as my $200+ shear. I am very happy with my purchase. They have a concave edge, are actually sharp, and their small size allows for precision cutting. They are sturdy and have a little bit of weight to them. They are great shears especially for the price. I will try and update you on how they wear , pros and cons, and longevity of the cutting edge. Now if only they made a double swivel with an equivalent price tag, my hands would be in heaven!â˜ï¸ðŸ•˜

I found these scissors to be very sharp. We bought the 6" size and in my hands they work great, but for man, the handle holes are too small to fit around his knuckles and so he can't use them comfortably. His hands are that large so it might be an issue for a man with medium or older hands to use these.

I've got a pair of 10" straight shears that I love. Super easy cut. Very sharp, not too heavy very smooth action. Someone borrowed them, and dropped them. Needed a replacement pair until the blade man comes. These are not an adequate replacement in ANY way. Clunky action, definitely not the sharpest shears I've used, even right out of the box. These things are a lot of work to use. I want my other shears back!I would not recommend these, and will not purchase again.

Given that these shears are on the cheaper side of shears I was a bit skeptical. However, these were much better than I expected! They cut really well and aren't as heavy as other shears I've used in the past. I like the lighter quality because my hands and wrists won't become as fatigued during a more extensive groom.

The tension seems to loosen very quickly, I feel like I am constantly tightening it... still and excellent set of shears.
