Good heft and balance, fits well in the hand, edge is coated in a protective layer that will come off when using or sharpening. Overall a great value for the cost.

I selected this axe because of the shape, the shape and length of the handle, and the forged high carbon steel hardness. The axe arrived in good condition overall. The handle is well made with no finish, but a quick, light sanding and an application of linseed oil brought it to my preferred condition. I did have to reshape the axe edge to my desired shape but fortunately I had the equipment and supplies to do that easily. Sharpening the axe by hand with just stones would have been very labor intensive due to the amount of material to be removed and the hardness of the steel (which I liked). The sheath was very well made. After the initial preparation I put it to use for short time and found the edge did not roll or chip in use. It seemed to maintain the razor-sharp edge very well and I look forward to some serious work with it.

Handle could be smoother. I expect to have to sharpen things these days but be warned, this thing is hard. There is room behind the blade for big hands, which is surprising. Good product, well worth the money.

Axe arrived in a nice box. Box was slightly damaged but no biggie. Opened the box and removed the axe. Axe handle had a larger chip taken out of the bottom of it and there was some blue sharpie or paint on the handle. If it wasn't for the chip, I probably would have kept the axe as it seemed well made.

Nice little camp hatchet or backpack axe. Overall put together nicely just not sure about the steel. Seems to be a little soft. Not high carbon. I’m going to try and harden it a little to see if that helps.

Ich hab mir diese Axt vor kurzen gekauft und finde die macht einiges her. Die Qualität und der Verarbeitung sind sehr zufriedenstellend. Finde als Buschcrafter ist dies Axt perfekt. Passt wie man an den Bildern sehen kann auch gut auf den Rucksack

Diese Axt ist wirklich gut. Sie sieht zum einen gut aus und hat sich draußen bisher wirklich gut geschlagen. Sie liegt durch die Stielform gut in der Hand, wodurch man sehr gut mit ihr arbeiten kann. Die Klingenschutz aus Leder ist gut stabil und macht einen soliden Eindruck. Zudem ist diese Axt gut verarbeitet und hat eine gescheite Werksschärfe. Durch ihre Größe passt sie gut in, oder an den Rucksack, sodass man sie ohne Probleme mitnehmen kann wenn es raus geht. Bisher bin ich sehr zufrieden mit der Axt und sie würde sie mir wieder holen.

Was soll man sagen?! Wirklich ein tolles Beil! Habe es mir noch schnell vor einem Outdoortreffen gekauft um es dort ordentlich testen zu können. Alleine die Optik, ein absoluter Blickfang, der auch anderen Teilnehmern gefallen hat. Der Griff ist super, denn man kann einmal super näher am Kopf anpacken um "feinere" arbeiten zu machen, oder eben am Ende um die optimale Kraft aufzubringen, um zu spalten! Super tolles Teil. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen.
