I bought these for everyday, routine use at home and they do that very well. The fabric is soft, which does not lend itself to fancy folds. However, it's quite pleasant to use for wiping one's hands and/or mouth.Grease stains must be pre-treated. Because of the looser fabric weave, grease really sinks in. While that's what a napkin is designed to handle, it does require extra laundry attention.I got the gray ones and color fading was not an issue based on the color catcher I used when I first washed them.I've washed several of these napkins multiple times and any shrinkage is minimal. What I do note is that they stayed square. Promptly removing them from and dryer and folding leaves them smooth enough for regular use, with no obvious wrinkles.The one small downside with this soft fabric is that it does pill a little bit. The pills are small but they are certainly there.Overall, an excellent, functional table napkin at this price point.

These are both soft yet firm enough, the color is beautiful, and they're absorbent enough to be perfect dinner napkins. I ordered them primarily for my Thanksgiving table, and I was not disappointed. I will be using them for many meals to come.

I like the fabric and color. Fabric is not flimsey. After laundering, fabric requires ironing but not a problem. I would buy again.

The quality, size, and fabric is very nice but I received 5 instead of 6, hopefully the mfg will send the missing one.

THESE ARE WELL MADE NAPKINS WITH A NICE TRIM. WHEN THEY ARRIVED THEY HAD A CHEMICAL SMELL SO I IMMEDIATELY WASHED THEM IN COLD WATER (AND 1 CUP OF VINEGAR TO SET THE DYE), THEN DRIED THEM ON DELICATE SETTING. I COLLECTED THEM AS SOON AS THE DRYER FINISHED. THEY CAME OUT OF THE WASHER PERFECT WITH NO NEED TO BE IRONED. COLOR DID NOT FADE.

I purchased these for my mother in laws birthday. They match her China perfectly. I liked that they are sold in a large set. The napkins are thick and great quality.
