I never polished before. This kit made it easy. Very happy with results. It does look like they are breaking down a little though.

The three buffing wheels are very well made. All three have stood up well to use so far with no issues. The compound does a fair job. Great product!

Got these smaller ones for/C levers as the like. Small stuff on a decent bench grinder.These really need the tapered arbour cos shaking and clamping is a bit irritating on a bolt.get the tapers left and right, wind these on ammd it will be heaps better with no slippingThe stitched mop is surprisingly good and so too is the abrasive I have heaps of big blocks and the three that come with this are good Loose leaf mops are good too for small jobs and really work well. But they won't work well on larger surfaces where you need a lot of material contact with the aluminium for abrasion as well as heat and pressureBut for small stuff these are great

I think the rpm's on my grinding wheel is a little too fast. The centrifugal force is reeking havoc on the buffing pad. So I think if I slow it down it will be ok and last longer. The buffers sent would not be good for heavy buffing.
