Our proportioning valve will work as left mount, right mount or bottom mount.The combination/prop valve has five connections.It has a 9/16"-18 connection for Rear Brakes & Dual 3/8"-24 ports for the front brakes .The connections from the Master Cylinder are 1/2"-20 and 7/16"-24.This proportional valve help you solve the rear lock up problem.

Had a major leak form my original. This one worked perfect and keeps the function of the brake warning light. It's not really a proportioning valve as the front and rear systems have separate reservoirs. What it does is both channels run through the block with a diaphragm between them. When one side runs out of fluid, the diaphragm moves triggering the brake warning light.

This thing immediately started leaking. At first I thought it was my fault so I removed and reinstalled the fitting straight and tight but still leaked. Replaced it with a different one and no leaks.

I have a 1970 Chevy C10 and my proportioning valve was leaking. I have all wheel disc brakes from a conversion I did years ago. I started noticing a stain that went from small to big in a matter of a week. I purchased this proportioning valve and so far problem solved and no more stains on the floor.

The angle front port not threaded completely to the bottom as the other ports are. I ordered a 2nd one and it had the same problem . To use it I had to grind off 1 thread of my flare nut so the tubing could tighten under the nut.
