Half the price of the Reed DEB4,which I have. Plus, has additional pipe size. Provides ASTM standard for chamfering/bevel angle on PVC.As a pool contractor for over 40 years, this will work well for my needs.

Tried an alternative tool that didn’t match the size of our ABS pipe even though it’s reviews suggested it did.This blue deburring tool works perfectly,with the spring loaded cutting section fitting the pipe just right.

Chamfers up to 4" PVC pipe very nicely. It's more work than a professional style tool, but I am just a homeowner with occasional plumbing projects so I couldn't justify the price of those.

I loved the ease of use and this works great on PVC and ABS pipes. Leaves a nice contoured edge after use.

Have always seen these and was curios so got this one. Price is right in line with others of this quality. Very well made. Heavy. Aluminum and can adjust blade and guide for pipe to make sure everything fits well. Keep in mind this is a chamfering tool only.. not a reamer. It'll deburr and chamfer the outside of the pipe but will not ream the inside. I have always used an inner/outer reamer/deburring tool but I mostly work with PCV 1/2" to 1-1/2". Once you get into larger pipes then chamfering helps and if you're not in the trades, as a DIYer homeowner you will probably not need this but it is a nice tool to have if needed. For 1-1/2" and smaller PVC you're better off spending half as much for a basic inner/outer reamer/deburring tool.

I and all my employees have been beveling pipe for 24 years since I am an irrigation contractor. This is the best bevel out there. It is tough, sharp, quick and easy. Highly recommend!

A good tool, easy and convenient to work with. It has been performing its functions for half a year of almost daily use. I gave it four stars only for the weight. The tool is made of iron and is quite heavy.
