Thought I had a defective bullhorn. I installed brand new Duracell batteries and it didn’t work. Returned and reordered another identical bullhorn. Installed the same new Duracell batteries and it didn’t work. Bought new Eveready batteries and K-blam-O, worked perfectly. For a cheap bullhorn, it’s plenty loud as long as you get your mouth close to the microphone. Ordering a second one!

When I grab this heavy PA horn my hand bumps the release and batteries spill out so now I have to fix it to use it. I would never buy this design ever again.

The product was great, awesome & looks fun to use. It even came earlier than I expected, which was appreciated.My only complaint was the box it arrived in. The product box was weak, bent with creases like it was picked out of the garbage and flattened out. It was not impressive to say the least, but with obly 20 min before I left for this event, I couldn’t make the gift look any better than I did with the wrapping paper I used. I was so embarrassed. Smh - why don’t you take pride in the product and the contents in which it’s presented?

It works as described. For the price I paid and application, it's worth it. I used it to increase my voice volume. Note: mine was send used. I purchased it in "new condition."

In order to get the megaphone to pick up my voice, my mouth had to be touching it. I bought this to share with my other youth group leaders to be heard by the kids. I don't want to share spit on the megaphone with everyone.Even with my mouth on it, I still had to turn the volume up halfway to hear sound out of the end. It is pretty useless in my opinion for the job it is supposed to do and features it is supposed to have. I would return it, but it did not come with batteries and it took me a bit to get out to the store for those. By the time I'd gotten them and tested it out a bit, realized it was not going to work, and got back to do a return, the return window was closed. So I'm stuck with it.

Overall its a fine megaphone for the money but the one HUGE flaw is in the latch that opens the battery compartment. When there are batteries in the unit the latch to open the battery compartment can not function because it hits the battery; so you cannot replace the batteries without nearly breaking the unit.
