The 4 point harness tightens and untightens very easily and sits very comfortably on the head. Having used a few hard hats, this one also has the most functional sweatband I've ever used by far. Still no replacement for a decent bandana, but at least absorbs enough sweat to keep it out of your eyes for the most part.The material is a polyethylene shell. I didn't really know what that meant when I bought it, but it ended up being a sort of plastic/metal hybrid. Very sturdy feeling and will definitely save you a trip to the ER. Despite that, it is surprisingly light. I've forgotten that I'm wearing the thing countless times already.The only downside is that the paint tends to chip and scratch away, but let's be honest, you're probably going to cover it with stickers anyway so that doesn't really matter.Overall very sturdy, light, and about as comfortable as you're going to get when it comes to hard hats. If the one I have now somehow becomes unusable somewhere down the line, I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

I needed a hard hat for a jobsite I was delivering to in a few days time. Local Home Depot and Lowes were out of full brim hats so I ordered this one. Overall, for what I wanted/needed im impressed. Ive got a big head and it fit perfectly with plenty of room for adjustments. I love the matte carbon fiber look finish and it seems durable as ive dropped the hat a few times and no scratches. Its light and comfortable. I gave it only 4 stars on durability only because Ive had it two days and used it twice only for a few hours. Notinf dropped on it or anything so I cant speak to long term durability. Id definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a light hard hat thats occasionally needed.

Pros: comfortable, light, feels like you are wearing nothing. Color, style, The liner is very comfortable with the padding in front and back at the adjustment knob which was a nice touch. Different ways of adjustment regarding height and width of ones head.Cons: A bit bigger than I thought. No ventilation slots on top (not a big deal). Sweatband is fabric, wished it was those with that vinyl style headband (not sure what it's called).That's pretty much it. All I can think of for now I suppose. Let's see how it holds up to the test of time.I didn't post anything regarding quality or durability because I have only had it for a little while and haven't gotten a hammer and beat the devil out of it. I have no intentions of doing that anyway. My line of work revolves around acoustical ceilings not heavy equipment or machinery.If ya'll have any questions feel free to ask. This hard hat survived being crumbled in the corner of my trunk! I had to pry and cut metal of my trunk away to get the hard hat out to claim it on insurance. The car was hit at about 35 mph from behind while parked. Just some cracks and folds. It’s also pretty comfortable. Just buy buy it, you’ll like it.

Lightweight, nice looking and sits low on my head instead of sitting on top of it. It has a matte finish so it scuffs up pretty easy. Harness is comfortable and the adjustable ratchet back is hinged which makes it fit nice. Especially if your wearing a good or stocking cap underneath.Update 9/20/19:I still love my hardhat.There's a feature I didn't mention before, though.On the inside of the back of harness is padded. Located where the ratchet is. It's nice because it keeps the harness from digging into the back of your head when you tighten the ratchet down. But there is a flaw. Which is why I'm writing this update.Overtime this pad seems to dissolve or disintegrate. I think it's due to sweat and heat. But it actually becomes kinda sticky and rubs off on the back of your head. I have to wear bandana now under my helmet now or I'll have a perfectly black rectangle on the back of my head. And it's sticky and gunky. It doesn't just wipe off. You have to wash it off.

After seeing several reviews complaining about its durability, I still went ahead and bought this one because I liked the way it looked and it had many positive reviews.It's lightweight! That being said, it's not as heavy duty as some might like, but we're all looking for a middle ground where affordable and safety meet and this hat fits right in. I've worn it for about a month now and it's already got noticeable scratches on the paint (That's just cosmetic, who cares?!) and makes it look better if anything. It fits comfortably and looks great! You'll get compliments right away!Overall, it's a nice hard hat that gets the job done.

Good lightweight hard hat. So far it has been durable but I am not on a jobsite often enough to know how durable it actually is. But it fits and wears well on my head when I need it.

Overall this hardhat is sweet looking and does its job. It’s super lightweight and does not bother me at all while working 8+ hours a day wearing this on my head. Super comfy.I ranked thickness as 4 star because the brim of the hardhat itself is pretty flexible, and feels almost if I can fold it if I applied the force.At the end of the day I’ve had many compliments on this hardhat and for the price, you defiantly get your value. I’ve recommended this lid to a handful of people, and will continue to do so. I would buy this hardhat again.
