I would love to give 4 stars as the item works as defined and I really like having lids for my Pyrex. I love Pyrex for the long lasting functional, made in US bowls; however, it is just crazy that the lids cost almost as much as the bowls. This just perpetuates our throw away society. I don't understand why they wouldn't make lids more easily available and for a more reasonable price as these lids over time do crack. I am hoping that washing them by hand will extend the life, but I think the action of putting on and off also cracks them.

I got this to replace the original Pyrex lids that had worn out. I prefer these! They attach securely and stay in place well. They aren’t hard to put on like some others I have used. The color in the photo is true to what I received as well.
