This measuring pitcher is solid just like Pyrex bowls and dishes. It is also marked with measurements which is very handy and it is safe in the microwave when melting butter and such.

I got this for my daughter-in-law who had chipped her measuring cup. It is very thick and well made. It was a much better measuring cup than what she had. Great version of this product. Please keep carrying this sturdier version!!!

This works great for measuring liquids. The Pyrex glass holds up in the microwave too. I would buy it again.

It's a great measuring cup and genuine Pyrex with the classic red stenciling. The quality is evident. It's thick and fairly heavy. There's nothing like high quality glass. However, this is not identical to the iconic model that I grew up with and was used in the best kitchens all across America. A couple of points off for that. Basically the overall size is increased so it's larger than necessary for an 8 oz. cup, making it heavier and bigger than it needs to be. Also the closed loop handle is now an angled open hook. Just pointing out the differences. It's still a great cup and I love using it. Okay, I admit my heart broke just a little to see they are no longer made in Illinois but rather made in China. Bring back manufacturing to the USA. We have plenty of sand, potash, and robots too! I'm glad Pyrex is still available and happy with my purchase.

When I ordered this measuring cup I was wondering if the solid quality of the original pyrex cup wouldbe the same. I am happy to report it is just as thick and sturdy as the original measuring cups. Very happy with purchase.

Se me rompió la que tenÃa y esta es más ancha y pesada . Cuando quiero calentar agua en el micro se calienta mucho también del mango, cosa que no pasaba con la que se rompió, que también era pyrex
