Not easy to assemble. Did fine until I tried to insert the almost impossible to insert springs. I had to find a very strong man to try to hammer them in. I think it's safe but I am unsure.

My three year old loves it. Would have given it 5 stars, but the black caps pop off often when riding, interrupting the playtime. However a simple fix is to purchase some strong compound to reinforce the stability of the caps. I allowed 12 hours to set and dry. The durability is superb .I recommend.

The springs are attached into plastic (took almost superhuman strength to attach) HORRIBLE DESIGN While playing with after about 3 uses The plastic popped out of the stirrup and caused my child to fall forward and crash onto the floor.

i dont like the red rails at bottom they serve no purpose but to trip the toddler, but the horse is so cute and makes trotting and horse noises the baby loved it. I dont like how the springs fit into the little black things that to will pop out when ridden hard. but our little guy loved it
