I needed to get some of my plants into larger hanging pots to keep them out of kitty reach and allow them to grow healthily, and didn't want to be over worried about how to keep a water-collection overflow attached, or having water spill out on the floors. The chains aren't going to stay hooked through the plastic of the pot without care taken when moving, unless you use pliers or something similar to bend the hooks further so they won't slip out. I don't find this an issue, but if you're taking your plants off their hanging area often, you may want to take that additional step.Otherwise this has worked for me exactly as I hoped, allowing the soil to drain after a watering into the bottom collection area without spilling to the ground, when watering's been that abundant. And now my plants are hanging nicely outside of kitty reach! Which is better all around, even if they're cat safe to begin with. The pots look nice, and are easy to clean! Even the area which lets you see water in the bottom collection portion looks nice, though if the pot itself is deforming some from any tension on the hanging hooks you've generated, the bottom won't really reflect that deformation - it stays secure, but a heads up that with how it's secured, it doesn't match perfectly to the pot's shape. Doesn't look at all bad though!

This flower pot is great, except for the bottom of the pot. It is meant to hold a reservoir of water, but it kept falling off when it filled with excess water. The pot is attractive and does the job of holding the plant and looking pretty, but the catch bottom for water is not practical.

I wanted to have several lovely hanging pots in my front yard and after several months I can confirm that these are wonderful. Easy to put together, weight is solid but not overly so. They look great and my annuals are still thriving.

I was a bit weary with this being a plastic pot, but it is hard to find a good hanging pot that is not plastic. The chains are sturdy and it is good plastic - not cheap. I really like the being able to see how much water I have added through the clear part on the bottom, because then I know if I need to add more. Would recommend.Ignore that my plant was not looking the best. This was after a Texas summer and it looks a lot better.

It’s very hard to find hanging pots in 8â€. This one is perfect for repotting 6†pot plants.I love how the bottom can be taken off by turning it versus pulling it off. So many other brand pots you have to pull really hard on them and it sometimes breaks…this one doesn’t do that because you turn the bottom to get it off.I also appreciate the window in the drip tray to see what the level of water is.Personally, I did not like the color of the drip tray, so I removed the drip tray, masked off the window (inside and out) and spray-painted the both the drip tray and pot, purple, then removed the masking tape.The chains are sturdy but could be considered short for some areas.

Just received two sets of the 10†today, and they are perfect for smaller hanging baskets. Feel sturdy, and have nice chain and hooks. I am really glad they have the water reservoir, mine always seem to really dry out easily in the hot summer sun. Wish they came in larger sizes, but would a 100% purchase again!

J'avais deux plantes (style "araignée") que je place dehors l'été et dedans l'hiver. Or grâce à cette suspension, j'ai réglé un problème de place dans mon sous-sol tout en leur donnant du jour.Ces 2 jardinières correspondent parfaitement à mon attente et les dimensions affichées ont été très utiles dans mon choix.
